Sector 4 Focus focuses on using the tools of business to create public good. We work on cross-sector partnerships, not least between businesses and charities, to meet common goals.
Working with businesses we:
- advise on cost effective implementation of Company Citizenship policies
- encourage meaningful community engagement
- advocate and advise on high value employee volunteering and skills exchange with not-for-profit organisations: the business case for engagement
Working with charities we:
- advise on funding and working partnerships with employers without the risk of mission drift
- establish mentoring partnerships with business to tackle charity-specific needs
- facilitate engagement with government, local government and business through training and workshops
Working with local authorities / public sector we:
- encourage employee volunteering, especially in the field of skills exchange
- develop cross-sector initiatives in community engagement
- encourage local delivery of services by community organisations in partnership with local councils
